Description:

I had just started my senior year and was counting down the days until I turned eighteen. I couldn’t wait to get away from my mom and her sleazy ways. She couldn’t stay with a man for more than a few months, so we moved from place to place, and it drove me crazy. The only useful thing she’d ever taught me was how to furnish an apartment for almost nothing.
I’d only asked one thing of her.
Do not date anyone associated with me or my school.

I kept to myself at school. There was no reason to make friends. I liked to spend my alone time in my room on my ancient computer or at the park taking pictures. I didn’t have what the other kids had, and I didn’t need it either. It was much easier to move when you only had a few boxes to pack.
When I got home from school one day, there was a message on my computer. It was from a guy that had seen one of my photography posts. We messaged back and forth, and our friendship began to grow. I called him Biker. The only thing we knew about each other was that we were both seniors, and I liked it that way.

There was a guy in one of my classes that was a total jerk. His name was Ethan. He was nice to look at with his whole bad boy look, but when you added in his attitude, the bad outweighed the good. I couldn’t believe he was in my advanced class. Not everyone was as they seemed though, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Then I pissed him off and quickly realized that he was, in fact, a jerk.
My mom kept her sleazy ways to herself, I did everything I could to avoid Ethan at school, and Biker made me realize that maybe things weren’t always as bad as they seemed.
Everything was perfect.

Then my worlds collided, my life was turned upside down, and I knew that nothing would ever be the same again.
